We are now looking for a business-driven Operations Manager who wants to take overall responsibility for operations in Västerås and become a key person in our continued development.

As an Operations Manager , you have overall responsibility for our depots and operations. You lead daily operations, optimize bus and staff planning, and ensure that the business runs efficiently, always focusing on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

The role involves both operational and strategic responsibilities. You work closely with traffic managers and local coordinators, lead the staff towards common goals, and develop routines and processes that strengthen the entire business area.

You report to the Operations Manager and have traffic managers and coordinators reporting directly to you.

• Operations Management: Ensure effective and well-planned daily operations of the depots.
• Personnel Responsibility: Recruit, onboard, and develop employees – create an engaged, healthy, and high-performing team.
• Quality and Safety: Follow up and develop routines for the highest possible operational reliability and delivery quality.
• Relationships and Collaboration: Build strong relationships with clients and partners – you are an important representative of our company.
• Work Environment: Actively work towards a safe, secure, and inclusive workplace.
• Governance & Follow-Up: Ensure clear and consistent handling of non-compliance with laws, policies, and routines, and promote transparency regarding key figures, results, and organizational development.

Your results are measured through customer satisfaction, operational reliability, and personnel development – you are the one who ensures that we deliver both in the short and long term.

Your Profile:

·         Several years of experience in similar roles, preferably within transport, logistics, or similar fields

·         Documented leadership experience, preferably within transport, logistics, or similar fields

·         Proficient in digital tools and systems for operations and planning

·         Good financial understanding and ability to drive operations towards set goals - analyzing key figures is your forte

·         Knowledge of road traffic laws, working time regulations for professional drivers, safety standards, and industry practices is a plus

As a person, you have the ability to maintain a holistic perspective combined with decisiveness. You are analytical, determined, and structured but also flexible and solution-oriented in your daily work. You have good communication skills, build trust, and motivate others through clarity, engagement, and present leadership. You speak and write fluent Swedish and English.

 Additionally, you hold a B driver's license; a D driver's license is a plus.
